On patrol with Philadelphia town watch members

    You’ve met the block captains. Not too long ago, NewsWorks introduced you to a handful of Philadelphia block captains who work tirelessly to keep their neighborhoods afloat and their blocks beautiful.

    Today, NewsWorks partner Philadelphia Weekly introduces us to town watch members. In Southwest Philly, Marsha Moore and Sam Ricks pound the pavement keeping an eye on things in their neighborhoods — even after Moore was beaten almost to death in her home last fall.
