Oldest Princeton alumnus dies at 107

Princeton University says its oldest alumnus has died at 107 years ago old.

Malcolm Roe Warnock, a member of the class of 1925, was a fixture in recent years during annual university reunions. He died Tuesday.

Warnock received the Class of 1923 Cane given to the oldest returning alum eight times, including the last seven years in a row.

The university says he didn’t graduate from Princeton, but did get a degree in 1926 from Columbia University. The retired lawyer, who lived in Maplewood, was still considered a Princeton alum.
