Occupy Delaware will meet to discuss space in Wilmington

Occupy Delaware is running into a similar problem its Philly counterpart faces: where to go.

As Philadelphia occupiers decide whether they’ll move to make way for the Dilworth Plaza construction, Occupy Delaware has hit a wall in plans to take up residence in Wilmington’s Fletcher Brown Park.

Delaware’s Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control gave Occupy the OK with a couple conditions: everyone has to be out by the park’s dusk closing time, and occupiers must be gone for good Monday to make room for the daycare center that uses the park on weekdays.

NewsWorks’ John Mussoni reports Occupy Delaware is considering the conditions and will meet at 6 p.m. to discuss it.
