Obamacare draws familiar cries of doom and despair

When the Affordable Care Act is fully implemented, it will be just as popular as Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, all of which were vociferously opposed by the forces of reaction and ultraconservatism.

We heard the same cries of socialism, communism, the country going to hell, etc. It didn’t then, and it won’t now. This is called “progress.”
