Nutter outshines Street and Brown in favorability poll

A two-day poll by the Washington, D.C.-based Garin-Hart-Yang Research Group shows incumbent Mayor Michael Nutter is the favorite of Philadelphia voters.

More than 500 “likely general election voters” gave Nutter more favorable ratings over challenger John Street, and of those who say they’ll vote for Street, 49 percent still believe Nutter will be re-elected.

Nutter’s campaign announced the poll results today, which shows Nutter earning 67 percent of the vote over Democrat Street and Republican candidate Karen Brown.
