No probe expected into Chester Upland fight between teacher, board president

Despite an announcement to the contrary last month, the Chester Upland School Board says it does not expect a third-party probe into the fight between the board president and a teacher.

Board President Wanda Mann accused teacher Leslye Jordan of bringing her daughter to the high school to intimidate another student.
Jordan denied the allegation and Mann has since been issued a summary citation.

The Delaware County Daily Times reports the school board is instead focusing on its financial situation. Already struggling to make payroll, the district is getting help from the state to keep schools open through the end of the school year.
