N.J. cookie baker taking a bite out of the Emmys
Stars at the Daytime Emmy Awards will leave with a little piece of New Jersey in their gift bags.
Maria’s Mom’s Italian Cookie Cupboard, based in Marlton, will provide cookies to be included in the gift bags for the award ceremony later this month.
The family recipes might be old, but the bakery has only been around since 2008. When the company that coordinates the Emmy gift bags sampled one of the cookies, Maria’s Mom’s was asked to bake some for the Sports Emmys in April. That went so well the family was asked to bake for the Daytime awards.
And cooking for the stars isn’t without its benefits. Maria, her mom and her daughter will attend the show.
