NewsWorks to share successes, lessons with other media and readers

Tomorrow, NewsWorks will present to hundreds of other media professionals and students about what we’ve been working on since November: this very site.

We’ll share our successes and lessons since our Nov. 15 launch with other media outlets during the third annual BarCamp News Innovation “unconference” at Temple University.

And we want to share those lessons with you, too.

In the name of transparency, we’re sharing the slideshow that we’ll use as a guide during the session. BCNI is an event designed for media professionals to share with each other what they’re working on, what hasn’t worked and what they hope to accomplish in the future.

It’s an exciting time for news, hence our shiny new website, and we want to keep it exciting. We’re sharing these slides with you to give you a peek of what we’ll talk about, and where we hope to go with this site. We’ll get feedback from others in the media field. But we also want feedback from you.

Our proverbial doors are always open, so find something you like, don’t like or think is missing tell us all about it.
