NewsWorks exclusive: Philly Folk Festival headliner announced

The secret has been revealed. Last night Louisiana musician Trombone Shorty performed to a very appreciative sold out crowd at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, PA.

During the bands introduction Philadelphia Folk Festival Director Michael Cloeren announced from the stage that Trombone Shorty would be back in our area this August to headline Sunday night and close the 51st annual Philadelphia Folk Festival.

The crowd went wild and the band hit the stage to perform for a standing room only crowd.
