NewsWorks celebrates its first birthday all day Tuesday
Krispy Kreme is baking cakes. Bruno’s is serving up sandwiches. Bassetts is dishing out ice cream. And Whipped Bake Shop has cookies at the ready.
It’s all for NewsWorks’ first birthday party. A year ago Tuesday, NewsWorks.org quietly launched as a go-to news source for Southeastern Pennsylvania, South Jersey and northern Delaware. It’s been a heck of a year, and there’s plenty more to come, but Tuesday is devoted to celebrating the folks who make NewsWorks happen.
That’d be you.
We’ll be at 22 different locations between 7:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday giving out goodies, serving food and entering our readers for a chance to win an iPad. Basically, we’re celebrating our birthday by giving you presents.
