What WHYY and Newsworks are following today

Even on a chilly, drizzly holiday, WHYY and Newsworks have your news needs covered.  Here’s what we’re following today:

Tom MacDonald will give an update on Monsignor William Lynn, the pastor who has been placed on leave by the Philadelphia Archdiocese.  He’ll also follow up on the Holy Family University coach who roughed up his own player last month.

Carolyn Beeler is looking into households using biofuel for heat.  She’ll also touch base with now former Senator Arlen Specter, and look into the case of the latest NFL retiree to commit suicide.

Meggan Kole will attend a reading of a book coauthored by a child about her experience fighting leukemia.  She’ll also check on the latest Johnson and Johnson products to be recalled.
