New stores line Kings Highway in Haddonfield

One of South Jersey’s most popular downtowns to visit is Haddonfield in Camden County. If you haven’t visited recently you’ll be surprised to see how many new businesses have opened.

Several women’s clothing stores opened along Kings Highway (Main Street), including Girlfriend’s Boutique, a shop billed for “girlfriends of all ages”; Ivivva, an active-wear store; Juniper for formal wear and Sew Pretty Studio, offering custom alterations, and sewing arts classes.

For the outdoorsy-type, Gorshin Trading Post & Supplies features a rough-and-tough-but-gentlemanly ethos, with products that “ranges from local and gourmet foods to made-in-the-U.S.A. apparel, buck knives, motorcycle gear, boots, heirloom blankets and high-end rucksacks.”

If you’re feeling creative you can try the BYOB-friendly Painting With A Twist studio, where you can channel your inner-Monet while sipping wine.

Finally,  Zaffron Mediterranean Cuisine is expected to open sometime early this year. It will feature a newly renovated outdoor patio seating area.
