New Occupy Philly blog supports shifting away from Dilworth Plaza

A Reasonable Solution is both the name of an Occupy Philly committee and a blog. Both support shifting participants to outside the Municipal Services Building, where the city wants Occupy to move when construction begins at Dilworth Plaza later this month.

So far, there is just one post on the blog.

“Reasonable Solutions has been advocating that we expand to a second location, and while we were gaining support over the last few days there was a major tide change yesterday,” it reads. “A final vote on this issue is supposed to happen at G.A. on Friday, but that schedule seems to be very flexible.”

The post proposes two solutions: calling the mayor’s office and gathering union support to move Occupy away from their construction area.
