New look for Pottstown Police substation

A Pottstown Police substation is about to get a new look as members of the Borough Council have voted to paint a mural on a wall of the building.

According to a story from The Mercury, the mural will be painted on the blank wall of the police substation, which faces the park at the intersection of Chestnut and Washington.

According to the story, a request was made by Genesis Housing, a non-profit entity which funded the mural through its Washington Street Corridor initiative.

The project will also include the painting of the police substation.
