New Jersey beach-goers named second-rudest in the country

Hold onto your floppy hats; New Jersey beach-goers have been named the second-rudest in the nation, according to TripAdvisor.

This should surprise no one, given Philadelphians’ repuation for being dirty, rudy and ugly and our penchant for vacationing at the Jersey Shore. Another shock: New York’s beaches came in No. 1.

Based on things like loud music, public intoxication and litter, N.J. came in second, sandwiched between New York and Florida. MTV, you’re probably not helping.
