National names to help Delaware Senate candidates

President Obama, Vice President Biden and Sarah Palin announce plans to visit Delaware to help their respective party’s candidates for Biden’s old Senate seat.

President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and former candidate for VP Sarah Palin have announced plans to visit the First State to help their respective parties candidates.

The President will join Biden and Democratic candidate for Senate Chris Coons at a fundraising event at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington next Friday.  Tickets for the event start at $100.  Biden’s already made a campaign appearance for Coons, stopping by his Wilmington headquarters a few weeks ago to rally volunteers.

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin told  Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity that she would “absolutely” visit Delaware to help fellow tea party favorite Christine O’Donnell.  Palin endorsed O’Donnell’s primary campaign against Mike Castle less than one week before her upset win over the nine-term Congressman.  No word yet on when or where Palin will be in Delaware.
