Mosquito sprays in Montgomery County will control population

Sprays schedule this week in Montgomery County will control the adult mosquito populations in Upper and Lower Moreland.

Three targeted areas will be sprayed Wednesday night from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Lower Moreland Patch has more information on the streets that could be sprayed, but the general targets are Albidale Park, Chapel Hill Wastewater Treatment Plant and Pellege Park.

The county health department will conduct the sprays with its truck-mounted Ultra Low Volume sprayer.
