Montgomery County assistant district attorney fired for violating office mandates
For reasons that remain vague, Montgomery County Assistant District Attorney Karen Grace Ricca was fired yesterday.
Ricca, who oversaw the office’s Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition unit for nonviolent, first-time offenders, was suspended without pay late last month.
The Inquirer reports Ricca was terminated for conduct “entirely inconsistent with the high standards we have tried to maintain,” as D.A. Risa Vetri Ferman put it. Ricca was fired during a regular meeting of the county’s salary board.
No other details about Ricca’s termination or the investigation have been made available.
