Minor flooding expected along Brandywine Creek Saturday

    Officials are warning of minor flooding possibilities today along the Brandywine Creek, as a slow moving storm makes its way through the area.

    The Daily Local News reports the Brandywine Creek reached a level of 10.8 feet this morning in Chadds Ford and was expected to rise a little over 11 feet by tonight.

    According to The Daily Local News, flood stage was nine feet.
