McNeil recalls 574,000 bottles of Infants’ Tylenol

Johnson & Johnson’s McNeil division is recalling 574,000 bottles of Infants’ Tylenol Oral Suspension, 1 oz. Grape after receiving complaints about the dosing system.

Some customer reported issues using the medicine’s “SimpleMeasure” dosing syringe, which is pushed into a protective cover at the top of the bottle to measure the correct dose.

Or at least, that’s what’s supposed to happen. In some cases, the cover got pushed into the bottle when the syringe was inserted. Caregivers who’ve had this problem can request a refund at 1-888-222-6036 or online.
