About 10 minutes into Tuesday night’s mayoral debate, which aired live on NBC10 and Univision, candidate Lynne Abraham suddenly fell to the floor.

Moderator Jim Rosenfield from NBC10 stopped the debate as her opponents helped her to her feet.

Those close to Abraham tell NinetyNine that the former district attorney felt better within several minutes of that moment, and was upset that doctors on the scene would not let her return to the debate out of caution. She was expected to resume campaign activities at a Wednesday morning event.
