A Middletown man had inappropriate sexual relations with two teenage girls, authorities allege.

Joseph Corio, 22, of Middletown was arrested yesterday and charged with two counts each of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of child, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Al Della Fave said in a release.

The prosecutor’s office alleges that Corio met the first victim, 15, on a dating website around Sept. 2015 and began an inappropriate sexual relationship, Della Fave said.

The first victim then introduced Corio to the second victim, 13, with whom the Middletown man also began to allegedly engage in illegal sexual acts, the spokesman added.

In accordance with Nicole’s Law, Corio is prohibited from having contact with both girls.
