Lotto law

New Jersey’s Assembly Appropriations Committee is considering a bill that would allow residents to buy lottery tickets online. Bill A-2676 would allow lotto players to purchase tickets from the Division of State Lottery directly via the Internet, email and text messages.

Also up for consider, Today’s Sunbeam reports, are payment procedures, which could come to include direct deposit. Five percent of the money accrued through online purchased would be required to go back to the state’s licensed lottery retailers.
