Losing NJ scratch-off tickets get a second chance

Scratch-off lottery tickets just became more fun. Aside from the anticipation that comes with uniting penny and cardboard to see if you’ve won, losing tickets will now be entered into a second-chance lottery.

Gloucester County Assemblyman Paul Moriarty announced today the New Jersey Lottery has launched the Million Dollar Replay program. Consumers who join the NJ Lottery VIP Club and purchase at least $10 in non-winning instant tickets can submit losing tickets into a yearly $1 million drawing and smaller quarterly drawings, NJ.com reports.

One hundred winners will receive $250 each in the quarterly drawing, and the 15 yearly prizes range from $10,000 to $1 million.
