Local musicians tire of festival’s growing popularity

    Once an indie, underground music festival, South by Southwest has grown in popularity over the years. And some local musicians aren’t looking forward to the Austin, Texas, event as much as they used to.

    WHYY’s Peter Crimmins talked to a local band and concert promoter who say the growing festival, now almost a quarter-century old, is wearing on them. They’re still going, though.
