Lights in central Pa. sky have residents on alien-alert
Believe it or not, life on this planet may have just gotten a little more interesting for some witnesses.
According to Pennlive.com, multiple sightings of a green light shooting into the night’s sky on the evening of June 27 have some Cumberland County residents “a little freaked out.”
While perched in a popular bird watching post with a handful of friends, 18-year-old Rachel Sudak said, “this huge dome light shot up from the ground. It was all green, and it looked like it was near Harrisburg. Around the top, it looked like a cylinder. Even from far away, it was blinding. We all think it’s a UFO.”
Noel Heitman, a Millersville University math professor “stopped short of calling the light a UFO,” said the article.
However, he did say he was “really baffled” by what he saw.
After hearing about the incident, a third woman shared her account of a similar experience three years ago, but attributed it to military experiments.
Representatives from the Harrisburg International Airport have received multiple reports of similar sightings over the past decade, but dismiss the claims as possibly just light that came from an airplane arriving at the airport.
Conflicting reports go on and on… but even more entertaining are the comments on the story.
