Latest Matusiewicz YouTube video takes aim at Delaware AG [video]

In the latest YouTube post made by Lenore Matusiewicz and her sister-in-law Linda Kula, the family suggests that Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden is using last month’s courthouse shooting case for politics.

Lenore is the wife of Tom Matusiewicz, the gunmen who killed their ex-daughter-in-law Christine Belford and friend Laura Mulford at the New Castle County Courthouse before a child support hearing on February 13.

Won’t release the body

In the video posted March 5, Lenore said Biden’s office won’t let her husband’s body be released for a private examination.

“He has told the medical examiner’s office that they are not allowed to give me any information about my husband,” said Lenore in the video. “They are not to release his body to anyone who is not a mortician. What will stop them from cremating him or burying him someplace where I’ll never find him.”

Lenore said Tom suffered from a brain tumor which made his behavior unpredictable at times. She said she believes his medial condition contributed to his decision to shoot the two women at the courthouse. While an autopsy was conducted, the medical examiner’s office will not disclose the findings.

Lenore said she sent the medical examiner an email stating that she does not want the body cremated or buried.

AG’s office remains mum

The family also claims that the AG’s office won’t provide any details on the three children at the center of the complicated custody case.

“There’s nothing we can try to do that can’t get past this man,” said Kula. “So my question is, what is his personal interest in this particular case? What is his agenda? Is it political? Does it have anything to do with gun control or eliminating all of our rights because it’s something bigger than just these three children.”

David Matusiewicz, the son of Tom and the father of the three children, remains in federal custody for violating probation.

The family alludes to a mistrust of authorities and that they’re just looking for someone to take the blame while promoting the state’s stance on tougher gun legislation.

“The authorities are not happy that Tom is dead and because they do not have a sacrificial lamb to hand over to the public in Wilmington, Del.,” said Kula. “So it’s their opinion that they give them these white people, then the public will be pleased. And that is what this is all about. The gun control matter is a second issue. I’m not sure which is Biden’s stepping ladder.’

She said she also believes that her three grandchildren will ultimately be returned to the custody of her son David or her daughter, Amy. She didn’t elaborate how she believes that will happen.

The daughters had been returned to Christine Belford after David and Lenore Matusiewicz had been arrested in Nicaragua for kidnapping. They were kidnapped in 2007 and returned in 2009.

Attorney General Biden was unavailable to comment on this story.
