Langford not ready to support state tourism district

In his State of the City address this afternoon, Atlantic City Mayor Lorenzo Langford said the plans for a state-run tourism district in the city need work.

The Associated Press reports Langford says he’s supportive of the idea, but doesn’t necessarily agree with allocating city resources to the state.

Gov. Chris Christie has not yet signed off on the plans, and Langford said he himself as no plans to sign until changes are made.
