Kids art contest marks Ben Franklin Bridge anniversary

Tomorrow is the 85th anniversary of the Ben Franklin Bridge. To celebrate, the Delaware River Port Authority is hosting an art contest for kids in the region to help create a commemorative poster.

Students who will be in first through eighth grades as of September can enter their work into the contest for a chance to have their artwork featured on the poster and the DRPA’s website.

There’s a host of guidelines for the contest, which include material requirements and paper size. Entries are due July 18.
