A review of ‘Potted Potter’ from 7-year-old Charlie, “Harry Potter” fan extraordinaire:

Potted Potter was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen! It was so funny, I wanted to cry. It’s a hilarious play of all the books of “Harry Potter” in 70 minutes. There are two guys in it, and they do all the characters. It’s not a serious play about the books; it’s one that will make you laugh a lot.

The actors use the book and ridiculous costumes and props to tell the story. My favorite part was when one of the actors keeps changing into different costumes and all different characters really quickly.

I read all of the books, and they do little parts of each and add in a lot of funny parts. Everyone should go to see it, it’s still funny even if you didn’t read the books… even one of the actors had only read one of them!

In the lobby, you can buy butterbeer and vote for which house you want to be in. That was cool.

I escorted said 7 year old to the show. I have only read one “Harry Potter” book and found myself laughing out loud (for real) throughout the show. It’s a wonderfully silly and fun spoof. He’s begging to bring his siblings and friends back before it leaves our fair city.

For Tickets and detail: “Potted Potter” is playing at the Prince Music Theater through Jan. 5.
