Kenny Chesney to play free concert in Wildwood
Wildwood fans: you’ll either want to be on the beach or far away from it on June 20.
That’s when country music superstar Kenny Chesney will be playing a free concert on the beach at Schellenger Avenue.
The show will be a night time affair, starting at about 8:30pm. While the show is free, you’ll need to get a ticket. According to the Press of Atlantic City, American Express Cardholders and Kenny Chesney Fan Club members get first dibs. And if you can’t get a ticket? It’ll be streaming live online on Youtube.com.

Tickets will made available through Ticketmaster for everyone else starting June 11, which begs the question: will you need to pay Ticketmaster fees? I paid $40 in fees for two tickets to a Counting Crows concert in Asbury Park. I can’t see Ticketmaster doing this pro bono.
And let’s be honest — you’ll probably be able to hear the show from anywhere on the boardwalk.
