Jury deliberations continue to determine Castro’s fate
After an hour of deliberation yesterday, a jury today will resume discussion about the fate of former high-ranking Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Castro.
Castro admitted last week to hiring a debt collector to use force to get back $90,000.
While prosecutors argue the former head of the traffic division, who had visions of being commissioner, thought he was above the law, Castro’s lawyer says his client is the victim of FBI entrapment.
Castro was indicted in November.
