Judge denies Ligambi’s request for bail

    A federal judge has denied bail for accused mobster “Uncle Joe” Ligambi.

    Arrested earlier this year for racketeering and gambling charges, Ligambi and his attorneys requested today that he be allowed bail until his trial begins. But as the Associated Press reports, the judge says it’d be too hard to monitor computer and cell phone use if Ligambi were under house arrest.
