Joe Duda gets Black Clergy’s support for City Commissioner

Despite having endorsed City Commissioner candidate Al Schmidt for the May primary, the Black Clergy of Philadelphia and Vicinity has announced support for Joe Duda in the general election.

Both are Republicans, but Duda is the incumbent.

Heard in the Hall reports support for Duda came down to his satisfactory answer to one question, but the Black Clergy won’t say what that is. Philadelphia will have three commissioners when all is said and done, and one of them has to be Republican. Stephanie Singer and incumbent Anthony Clark are the Democrats.
