If you live near a Wawa store and are seeking a job, you’re in luck.

The Wawa, Pennsylvania-based convenience store and gas station chain is seeking to fill customer service positions at all of its 700+ stores across six states over the next three months.

“At Wawa, we exist to fulfill lives every day and part of this commitment means providing fulfilling job opportunities that can lead to fulfilling careers for the more than 26,000 Wawa associates who are part of our team,” said Dave Filano, Manager of Talent Acquisition at Wawa, in a release.

The company is hiring seasonal workers for the “busy summer season” and those who are seeking a career, offering open houses with free coffee at more than 100 store locations through April, Filano added.

With stores locally throughout the Jersey Shore and the greater Philadelphia area, Wawa celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2014. The company employees 26,000 part- and full-time associates, of which 41% hold shares through a employee stock ownership plan.

Wawa announced in January it was raising its starting pay to $10 an hour, with shift supervisors beginning at $13 an hour and assistant general managers at $17.

The company’s namesake is the town in which it was founded. The word “Wawa” is derived from a Native American name for Canada goose, which is also the corporate logo.
