Jay-Z will invite Obama to Philly’s Made in America music festival

Nearly 30 performers will be part of Philly’s “Made in America” musical festival Labor Day weekend, but organizer Jay-Z said yesterday not all the acts are lined up.

Is there room for President Barack Obama on one of the three Parkway stages?
“I’m gonna give him a call and I’m gonna try to get him to perform – do a little rendition of Al Green – but I doubt it,” Jay-Z told Rolling Stone.

The entertainer was at the Art Museum yesterday to announced the Budweiser-sponsored concert series. About 80,000 visitors are expected for the Parkway festival. Unlike the Fourth of July concert series, this one won’t be free.
