Jail until trial for accuesd Ben Franklin bust thief

Andrea Lawton’s questionable past appears to be catching up with her.

A judge agreed today that her use of more than a dozen aliases, six Social Security numbers and seven dates of birth qualifies her as a flight risk, the Inquirer reports, and she’ll remain in jail until she goes to trial for allegedly stealing a valuable bust of Benjamin Franklin. The bust went missing from a Bryn Mawr home in August, and Lawton became the prime suspect when witnesses reported seeing her leave the home, where she had previously worked as a housekeeper.

The bust, just one of the items removed from the house, is valued at $3 million.
