It’s pretty fun being green: one man’s story of pulling a Kermit parade balloon

If you’re going to pull a giant balloon in a major parade, it ought to be one of the most fun, recognizable floats.

Enter Chris Cummins and Kermit the Frog. Cummins spent Thanksgiving morning tugging a massive Kermit balloon around the city’s parade route. He (Cummins, not Kermit) wrote a funny piece about the experience for Geekadelphia.

    Here’s an excerpt:

“Another thing I didn’t anticipate is the giddiness I would feel because of the experience. As anyone who knows me will be quick to point out, I am a jaded shell of a man. Yet under the watchful gaze of Kermit all of my misanthropy melted away.”
