Insurance study: Philly drivers worst among big cities

We can’t blame New Jersey drivers for this one.

According to a study done by All-State Insurance, Philadelphia had the highest crash rate among U.S. cities with one million people.

Cited in today’s Inquirer, the annual study looks at accident claims filed in cities across America. Philadelphia has never done especially well in these studies. This year’s data show Philly the time between Philly drivers’ accidents is twice what it is in the safest driving city — Sioux Falls, S.D.
