Important win: Penn State football gets first victoy since scandal

    Penn State fans and students had something to cheer about Saturday, after the No. 21 ranked football team managed to hold on for a win over Ohio State, the team’s first since news of the scandal broke.

    Penn State won 20-14 over Ohio State in Columbus after suffering a loss to Nebraska the week before.

    According to the Associated Press, Saturday’s win was the first without Joe Paterno since Decemember 1965, when Penn State beat Maryland.
