I-95 lanes to close for bridge repairs near Philly

Nighttime lane closures are scheduled next week on the busy Interstate 95 corridor in the Philadelphia region as crews begin a $21.6 million bridge repair project.

Two northbound lanes will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday next week between the Philadelphia International Airport and the Walt Whitman Bridge. On Feb. 22, a week from Friday, two lanes will be closed southbound.

Officials say the closures are part of efforts to fix 28 bridges in Philadelphia and Delaware County. The work is expected to be completed by November 2015.
