Hurricane Irene concerns shift to flooding in New Jersey

New Jersey State Police report 30 to 35 people are trapped in their mobile homes in Cranberry Run Senior Community in Buena Vista, Atlantic County.

According to NJ.com, the concern for emergency management officials has shifted to flooding across the state.

NJ.com says United Water Lambertville is reporting its dam is at a warning stage, but that it is not in any risk of collapsing.

Flooding is also sending additional residents to state run shelters, with an estimated 9,659 currently in shelters, an increase from the 5,600 estimated about 10 p.m. last night.
