Hundreds arrive for Krispy Kreme’s early morning debut in Collingswood

More than 200 people were craving dougnuts this morning as they made their way to Krispy Kreme’s grand opening in Collingswood. Before morning rush hour was over, hundreds had filed in to see, smell and taste the store’s treats.

Collingswood Borough Commissioners Joan Leonard and Mike Hall and Mayor James Maley helped the franchise owners cut the ribbon, as Collingswood Patch reports, on the store’s first South Jersey location.

This is the franchise’s third location in the area, and features one thing you won’t find in the still-new Center City location: a drive-thru.
