At 3 p.m., Pa. Sen. Vincent Hughes will begin his tour of two new Philadelphia shopping centers. He’s leading Secretary of the Department of Community and Economic Development C. Alan Walker around sites in North and West Philadelphia.

Local business leaders will join the pair as they discuss the projects and their benefits to their communities.

The first stop is at Park West Shopping Center at 1575 N. 52nd St., then onto Baker’s Square, the former site of Tasty Baking Co., at Fox Street and Roberts Avenue.
