How the fake primary compares with the real one

    If City Paper voters had their way, the primary results would have looked like this:

    City Commissioners: Al Schmidt, Marie Delany, Stephanie Singer and Blair Talmadge

    Sheriff: John Kromer

    7th District Councilmember: Danny Savage

    Those races turned out a bit differently in yesterday’s actual primary, but some of City Paper’s poll results came strikingly close to reality.

     

    Like the 6th Councilmanic Disitrct, where Bobby Henon took about 60 percent of the votes in both elections; and the Democratic mayoral race, in which Milton Street got a quarter of the votes in both.
