How local schools are approaching security and counseling following the Sandy Hook shootings

    Good morning, Feeders.

As the week unfolds, we’ll follow up on the tragedy in Connecticut last week that left more than two dozen people dead.

Kevin McCorry was at this morning’s youth violence symposium in Philadelphia, and Ben Herold will have a report on security in city and suburban schools.

Maiken Scott will talk to school districts in the area that are offering counseling today, and speaking with experts about what the best approach is for children in dealing with tragedy.
