Housesitting woman found fatally shot in N.J.
Police say a South Jersey woman was found fatally shot in the Gloucester Township home where she was housesitting.
Camden County and Gloucester Township authorities say the 53-year-old woman was found in the home about 5 p.m. Friday. They say she had been shot numerous times. She lived in the nearby community of Washington Township.
Her name was not released pending the notification of relatives.
Authorities gave few details about the homicide. They say an investigation is continuing.
