Horsham to PennDOT: Make stretch of Easton Road safer for pedestrians

    Horsham Township has written to PennDOT with a list of suggestions for making a stretch of Easton Road safer.

    Following two fatal pedestrian-vehicle crashes, the township is seeking response from the state.

    Among the ideas for making Easton Road between Maple Avenue and Meetinghouse Road safer, Patch reports, are recommendations to eliminate the shoulder and install a center turning lane.
