John Street tells Bob Brady he’s serious about a run for mayor

    Congressman Bob Brady says he sat down this morning with Former Mayor John Street at his request to talk about his independent candidacy for mayor.Brady says Street “is not joking” about his intentions to run as an independent.The congressman, who is head of the city’s Democratic party, says Street’s  running as an independent could cause problems in the fall, essentially removing the straight party ticket vote.The two agreed to speak again before Street makes a final decision.
