Hiring begins at Wilmington’s hybrid car plant

The hiring process has begun at Fisker Automotive. Wilmington’s hybrid car manufacturer plans to hire 120 employees this year, and the first positions are already posted.

Engineering staff, electro-mechanical technicians and some production teams will be the first to come on, as WHYY’s Bill Cook reports. Sales are expected to begin in 2013.

The California-based company announced its plans for a Delaware plant in 2009.
